These terms govern your use of the Taleemi platform. By accessing Taleemi through its web or mobile applications, you — whether a School, Staff member, or Parent — agree to be bound by the following conditions.
Taleemi provides a cloud-based school operations platform encompassing student data management, communication tools, and transport logging. The platform is designed to support the day-to-day administrative and operational needs of schools within the United Arab Emirates.
The School retains all rights, title, and interest in and to all student, staff, and institutional data uploaded to the platform. Taleemi does not claim any ownership over your data.
Taleemi acts as a Data Processor under applicable UAE law. We process personal data solely for the purpose of delivering the contracted services and will not use, share, sell, or analyze this data for any purpose outside the scope of school operations.
The School is responsible for the accuracy, legality, and integrity of the data it provides to the platform. Taleemi is not liable for decisions made based on inaccurate data entered by users.
All personal and sensitive data is hosted on secure servers located within the United Arab Emirates, ensuring compliance with local data residency requirements.
In accordance with Federal Decree-Law No. 26 of 2025 on Child Digital Safety, Taleemi maintains a strictly ad-free environment and provides tools for schools to manage and document guardian consent for data processing related to minors.
We implement industry-standard encryption, access controls, and monitoring to protect data against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for all activity that occurs under their accounts.
Users may not use the platform to transmit any content that is unlawful, defamatory, or in violation of UAE cultural norms and public policy. Any misuse may result in immediate suspension of access.
Schools must ensure that only authorized personnel are granted administrative access to the platform and that access levels are reviewed regularly.
Taleemi provides digital tools for logging bus runs, recording student attendance during transport, and maintaining operational records. These tools are designed to assist school operations but do not replace the legal and operational responsibility of the school and its transport staff to ensure the physical safety of students at all times.
Real-time features — including bus tracking and live status updates — are dependent on cellular connectivity and GPS accuracy. Taleemi cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability of location-based services.
We aim for continuous service availability and maintain infrastructure designed for high uptime. Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated in advance when possible. Taleemi is not liable for service interruptions caused by third-party infrastructure, including internet service providers, cloud hosting outages, or force majeure events.
Taleemi's total liability for any claim arising out of the use of the platform shall not exceed the total fees paid by the School for the service during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. In no event shall Taleemi be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of data, revenue, or business opportunity.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in the UAE.
